Capital campaigns are the 900 pound gorillas in fund
raising. They can lead to magnificent results and raise your
fund raising effort to a new higher level. Yet capital campaigns
require very careful planning and execution. Simple and
easily-avoided mistakes can derail your campaign and prevent you from
achieving success. Learn the basics before you get started. We
cover feasibility studies, goal setting, using consultants, pledges, and counting
campaign results. This session is designed for CEOs, Board Members and

gifts, yet many charitable organizations fail to ask for them
effectively. Learn how to ask your donors for large gifts naturally and
easily, using the techniques of permission-based solicitation. We show
you how to sidestep the usual reluctance and anxiety that so often
accompanies personal gift solicitations. Learn how to cultivate donors
and ask for the right gift at the right time. This training sessions is
for both volunteers and staff members. Taught by John
